Just the wing.
Note: this wing uses a 7mm dia x 1000mm spar.
These are the STL print files for the 1200mm SoarKraft wing with the MH32 Airfoil. This wing uses the additional carbon reinforcement and can be printed out of a variety of materials.
This wing uses only 2 servos to control full span Ailerons: right and left. These can be programmed for more complex use such as flaps, reflex, camber (climb) and snap flaps. Easier to set up and build than the 4 servo wing and can use a less complex receiver as well. Ailerons are 490mm each.
This wing fits all of the models with the removable wing saddle, such as:
- Roughgen
- Pika
- Igneous
The MH32 airfoil has been very popular for soaring for many years and was the airfoil for F3B competition throughout the 90s. It is know for a very wide speed range and amazing lift to drag ratio. With flaps, even a heavily ballasted model can be slowed to a gentle landing speed. A good for light weight builds and the power pod.
- wingspan - 48.9 in (1243mm)
- wing area - 234 sq.in. (1508 cm^2)
A Soarkraft fuselage is necessary to build a complete airframe, or add this wing to any of the Soarkraft models.
