This power pod carries more than enough power to launch your model right out of your hand, giving pilots without access to a slope or light wind days the enjoyment of power assist. With 5-15 minute flight times on a 1000mAh 3S lipo, climb fast and enjoy gliding around. Designed to use readily available and inexpensive parts, thanks to those drone guys, a complete power system is less than $50. However higher power motors, bigger higher pitch props will make this airframe into… well, lets just say it has potential…. Power Pod is designed with Down and Right Thrust angle for level flight with or without power, but may require some added shimming for different tails or propeller selection.
This is the set of files for adding a motor / propeller / controller / battery to the airframe. An elevator servo holder is also included to relocate the elevator sevro under the wing. These are only the print files. These needed to be printed to use.
This Power Pod will work with:
- Roughgen Basic
- Roughgen V2
Carbon reinforcement is highly recommended and uses the same pieces as the slope set.
